Western nations like Canada have recently topped lists of best places for women to live. Unfortunately, some women happen to be born elsewhere and if they were born in the following five nations, they face challenges that many other women around the world have only read about with great sadness. These nations, whether due to ideology or political conflict, have terrible reputations for gross violations against women.
