Announcement for blogger | arts, ideas, and global women's rights issues

Are you an activist for women's human rights? Do you keep up-to-date with the latest gender equity issues around the world? Are you interested in women's art and creativity? And most importantly, do you love to write?
We are looking for bloggers to contribute to the Her Blueprint blog! If you'd like to write about arts, ideas, and global women's rights issues for an organization leading the women's rights movement, send a resume, cover letter, and writing sample (ideally a blog post or something similar) to kwaltonpotter@globalfundforwomen.org. If you're currently blogging, feel free to send links to individual blog posts in lieu of a writing sample.
Contributing bloggers will be responsible for sourcing and writing blog content according to a posting schedule while following the Her Blueprint blogging style guide. Bloggers will also be expected to help drive traffic and promote the blog and build an engaged audience via social media marketing outreach. Ideas for recurring columns are welcome.

We're looking for people who are:
  • Interested in and knowledgeable about global human rights, especially women's rights and/or art, media, and culture from a women's social change perspective
  • Web and tech-savvy (bonus if you're familiar with the Blogger platform)
  • Enthusiastic writers and editors with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Professional, reliable, and responsible
  • Deadline-driven and able to stick to a clear posting schedule
  • Knowledge of and interest in women artists, writers, and activists a plus
The position is part time with a minimum 3 month commitment. Please do not apply if you will not be able to commit to a firm posting schedule. Contributing bloggers can work remotely from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.
